My project will address a trash issue we have in our neighborhood. A walking bridge was built so people could cross from our neighborhood to the walkway to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. This is an event center. Although a wonderful idea to give easy access, it has caused an influx in trash. Instead of putting up scolding signs, I am going to paint and create beautiful, fun trash cans. This will not only encourage people to throw away their trash, but it will also keep the area beautiful. The designed trash cans will create adventure and make throwing trash away seem fun.
My first work day I will take pictures of the space. I will also pick up my two trash cans and work on their overall designs.
